Conor O'Keefe

Conor's love of Goalkeeping began at a young age, representing Crewe Alexandra & Macclesfield Town at academy level. He continued at Macclesfield as part of the Youth Team and First Team, before studying International Business at Loughborough University.

His football career then took him abroad, playing professionally in Spain, Gibraltar and Sweden, before returning to play in England for Macclesfield FC & FC United of Manchester.

Alongside playing, Conor runs a popular Goalkeeping YouTube channel, creating tutorials and educational videos for Goalkeepers around the world, with a current following of just under 100,000 subscribers.

Conor wants to continue to spread the love of Goalkeeping both online and in person at GKHQ, helping the next generation of Goalkeepers to chase their dreams.

Joe began his Goalkeeping career at Norwich City, coming through the youth academy in Norfolk, before continuing his professional career at clubs including Stockport County, Peterborough and Blackpool FC.

Joe represented England from u16s all the way through to u21 level, and even appeared in the Premier League for Cardiff City.

Named as club captain at Aberdeen FC, Joe represented the Scottish giants for 7 years, before finishing his playing career working at Manchester United.

James McClenaghan
GKHQ Coach
Growing up in Manchester, James has been a goalkeeper since he started playing football aged 7. A lifelong Manchester United fan, James' playing career has included clubs such as Lancaster City and Stalybridge Celtic, as well as being a training GK at Wigan Athletic, Rochdale and Altrincham.

James has also impressed away from the pitch, achieving a BSc in Sport & Exercise Science with a focus on S&C, nutrition and physiology, a degree which also enabled him to work as an intern for the Athletic Performance Department at Blackburn Rovers.

As a coach, James' passion for the position translates into his sessions, with his positive demeanour key to enabling GKHQ goalies to continue to improve whilst enjoying all that Goalkeeping has to offer.

George Huyton
GKHQ Coach

A talented Goalkeeper, George was on the books at clubs such as Burnley, Stoke and Bolton as an academy player, before making his debut in non-league football at just 16 years of age for Vauxhall Motors.
George has also represented Bootle & Runcorn Town whilst also studying for his UEFA Coaching Qualifications at St George's Park, working under renowned coaches including Luke Webb.

George's passion for coaching comes from his desire to improve young keepers' understanding of the game, helping them to progress their own on-pitch performance through insight and education that he didn't receive until much later in his career.
George's drive and growth mindset are infectious to all who work with him, bringing a passion for the position to each one of his sessions.
